Here are some tips and tricks to help make sure you are getting the most out of your hotspot and that the internet connection is strong on your student device.

Tip 1: Only Use the Hotspot with Your Student Device

Make sure that you’ve only connected your student device to the hotspot. Disconnect all other devices.

Tip 2: Move the Hotspot

Try moving the hotspot to a different spot in your home or closer to a window.

Tip 3: Close Unused Tabs or Applications

  • On your student device, close any tabs or applications that you are not using.

  • Avoid watching a video while in a Google Meet with your teacher and classmates.

Tip 4: Change Your Video Setting in Google Meet

Turn off your video or change your video setting in Google Meet.
